sepinwall I think they said at PaleyFest (where she and Elisabeth Moss were also absent) that she was out of town filming a movie.

Shouldn't Cranston be all Heisenberg'd? Is this a clue as to the direction of Season 5?

sepinwall They haven't started filming yet. Aaron Paul just tweeted that he had read the season 5 premiere script. Cranston can shave his head quickly, and I think he's said the goatee doesn't take long to come in.

I really miss Breaking Bad. It was great seeing mark Margolis ( Uncle Tio) on many shows, especially since he can't return. Gale was on several shows. Another goner. I
Hope mad men will become familiar again.

The very long days the actors have in doing these shows is understandable considering Aaron Paul teething he just got season 5. That's about 3 months for doing 16 episodes. Seems like such a short time.

The writers really turned it up a notch this year.Matt Weiner certainly has you paying attention, changes in "is it a dream"? or "didn't I just see this?"
Maybe the 17 months of their hiatus was a good thing. Happy it's back.
Now I juist have to wait for Breaking Bad
