In Contention's Top 10 Oscar Upsets We'd Like to See

8. Best Art Direction: "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2"
The truth is, I'm with the general consensus in this category. "Hugo" deserves the Oscar for Best Art Direction, hands down. However, this is a list of upsets we wouldn't mind seeing, and I have to say, the art direction on the Harry Potter franchise has been the most consistent virtue worthy of an awards spotlight. Production designer Stuart Craig and set decorator Stephenie McMillan have been nominated for the series four times now, and a smile would certainly creep out onto my face if I were to see them finally rewarded for their work, even if it had to come at the expense of the more deserving frontrunner. --Kristopher Tapley
