8. "Ed Wood" (Production Designer: Tom Duffield)
"Ed Wood" was and always will be the movie Burton was meant to make, and he brought Tom Duffield up from the art department ranks of films like "Beetlejuice" to lead the design team. It's not a typical Burton film for that, very much centered on props and set decoration on a smaller scale, but that's exactly what it needed to be and it captures its subject and his affinity for creating like a glove.
