Beyonce and Jay Z get 'Frank' with fans
$45 - Cheap seats ticket (plus StubHub fees) to see Beyonce and Jay Z at the Rose Bowl. I've never seen Queen B in concert (though I have seen her husband), so it's only time I shake it to "Crazy in Love" in the flesh. Aug. 2.
$25 - Basement Jaxx, "Junto" on vinyl. I'm gonna love the art in large print, and I'm a sucker for all of the dance duo's records. "Unicorn" is an especially tasty song. Aug. 25.
$10 - Spoon's new album "They Want My Soul" on digital. I prefer Amazon MP3. Out Aug. 5.
$12 - Movie ticket to see "Frank" in theaters. I'd see it again. I love a damaged Fassbender and Maggie Gyllenhaal is my spirit guide. Select theaters Aug. 15.
$5 - "The One I Love" on VOD. I don't think I need to see this one in a theater because frankly I'm a cryer. Elisabeth Moss is an outstanding actress. Out VOD on Aug. 1.
$1 - Jasmine, "That's Me Right There" feat. Kendrick Lamar on MP3. I like her. I like him. What's a buck, yknow? Out Aug. 5.
$1 - Ethan Johns, "Dry Morning." Ryan Adams produced on his own longtime producer's album. This single is a knockout. "The Reckoning," Johns' second solo album, is out Aug. 12.
$1 - Beach Day, “All My Friends Were Punks.” The band Beach Day sounds exactly like you think a band called Beach Day would be called. September approaching, I'll need one more beach day to send me off. Album out on Aug. 19.
