Why we love it: I'm a fan of celebrities and game shows, so "Celebrity Name Game" should be a perfect fit for me. It's basically a thirty-minute version of the game "Celebrity," which I've played/dominated at one too many house parties. Craig Ferguson is a daft host and he seems to enjoy himself whether the contestants are brilliant or boneheaded.
Why it's cringe-inducing: Like "Hollywood Game Night," "Celebrity Name Game" suffers from overeager contestants and stars who do more screaming than winning. You can basically hear the producers egging them on to be more energetic, and that makes for uncomfortable viewing. I dare you to sit through Tom Arnold's panicked gameplay. Dare you.
