LOW TO HIGH: The Beginning
Jennifer Lopez knew she wanted to be a movie star when she was in high school. She dropped after only one semester of college, moved to NYC and performed with regional musicals and traveled with some troupes. She became a backup dance for New Kids on the Block in 1991 and even performed alongside the boy band at the American Music Awards that year. That's what helped kick-start an opportunity to become a Fly Girl dancer on sketch comedy show "In Living Color."
