Known For: The indie hit "Rabbit Hole" and the sleeper hit "Project X," as well as the upcoming release of the Sundance favorite "Spectacular Now."
In His Favor: In "Spectacular Now," Teller plays a high school senior who blends brash confidence, with well-meaning insecurity. He's impossibly smug, but you never doubt either that he can get the girl or that his heart is, ultimately, in the right place. It's a role that earned him a share of a Sundance Jury Award and, trust us, after you see the movie, you'll be thinking Young Han Solo makes a lot of sense.
Against Him: So far, Teller is mostly known for high school comedies and dramedies and the upcoming "21 & Older" is only going to add to his frat boy luster. The attitude is there, but a casting director would have to be sold on his action chops.
