Harry Connick Jr.
Film he went bad for: "Copycat"
Why it was shocking: On the surface of it, it’s laughable to even think that friendly, suave crooner Harry Connick Jr. could play a serial killer. But what’s even more surprising is Connick’s ability to go toe to toe with Sigourney Weaver and Holly Hunter. Stripped of Connick’s charm and dental hygiene, Daryll Lee Collum is a brutish, maniacal killer, who’s smart enough to keep changing his M.O. and stay one step ahead of the police. Connick is scarily effective enough to make you wonder what hidden horrors was his tapping into to conjure up Collum.
