For Peter Jackson's upcoming "Hobbit" trilogy, Ian McKellen reprises his unforgettable "LOTR" role as the wise old wizard Gandalf the Grey. Cate Blanchett also returns as the elf queen Galadriel.
Orlando Bloom, Elijah Wood and Christopher Lee will also reprise their respective roles in the prequels.
