George Clooney: The suavest man alive

The Venice Film Festival is never short on star-power, but things are always at their starriest when George Clooney is in the house. He directed and starred in the fest's opening film, "The Ides of March," in which he plays a Democratic governor on the road to the White House. Ryan Gosling, not in Venice, plays his top campaign aide.
