The 1970s-set espionage thriller - based on the novel of the same name by John le Carre - stars Oldman as George Smiley, a British intelligence veteran who is forced out of semi-retirement to help MI6 expose a Soviet spy working within their ranks. Firth stars as deputy Bill Haydon and Strong stars as agent Jim Prideaux.
