Ryan Gosling plus Steve Carell means big laughs, right?
Ryan Gosling wants to pay some bills. After getting nixed from Peter Jackson's "The Lovely Bones" at the last minute, the acclaimed actor segued to the well received Sundance indie "Blue Valentine" and shot the mystery romance "All Good Things" alongside Kristen Dunst. Now, he's joining Steve Carell's latest untitled comedy.
The original script centers on Carell playing a man in the middle of a marital crisis. Gosling is on board as his seemingly put together best buddy whose life begins to fall apart as he tries to "manage his relationships with his children," at least that's how Variety describes it.
The flick should start shooting during Carell's upcoming "Office" hiatus under the direction of "I Love You Philip Morris'" John Requa and Glenn Ficarra.
