"The Hunger Games"
I have a selfish reason to want to see the Blu-ray version of this spring's hit adaptation of the popular book series, and that's because I was interviewed for the special features. Even if I weren't, though, I'm curious to see if Lionsgate takes full advantage of the Blu-ray format to expand on the world of the books. It seems like this would be a perfect opportunity to really allow each of the films to serve as a guide into the world surrounding the story that Suzanne Collins is telling. It sounds like they're going to try to put something special together, and at a time when studios are scaling back on the extra features they're willing to pay to produce, the sales for this one may send a signal not only to Lionsgate but to the industry as a whole.
