"Whatever Happened To Baby Jane?"
Robert Aldrich seemed to have two modes as a filmmaker. He made tough guy movies that rang of authenticity, and he also made crazy ass women's movies that seem positively deranged viewed today. This movie has become a camp classic as much for the behind-the-scenes tension between Joan Crawford and Bette Davis as for the madness onscreen. Victor Buono also gives a great performance here, and I'm curious to see how they handle the lush black-and-white photography of the film, and what extras they're going to put on the disc.
