The moment: Ron Effing Swanson goes to Scotland (from "London")
Many sitcoms have filmed in other cities or countries for very special episodes, but few have ever gotten the mileage out of it that "Parks" did in its sixth season premiere, particularly in the emotional climax where Leslie gives Ron the greatest present we've ever seen her give anyone: a surprise private tour of the distillery that makes his beloved Lagavulin whiskey, and instructions to enjoy it while sitting on the Scottish cliffs and reading Robert Burns' poem "O were my Love yon Lilac fair." It's a gorgeous, evocative moment, but also a funny "Parks and Rec"-style one, because of course the buttoned-down Ron can't actually admit just how beautiful he finds it all.
