Cannes Film Festival 2013

Fall Movie Preview: From 'New Moon' to 'Where the Wild Things Are'

Plus: Which two flicks are guilty pleasures cause they looks so bad they could actually be, um, good?

A Christmas Carol

Stars: Jim Carrey, Robin Wright Penn, Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Michael J. Fox, Daryl Sabara
Lowdown: Robert Zemeckis continues his journey into motion capture filmmaking by tackling Charles Dicken's classic holiday tale
Why It's A Must: If the extended preview at this year's Comic-Con was any indication, this version of "Carol" will be darker than you'd ever expect anything from the Walt Disney Studios to be, might actually have solved the whole "dead eyes" issue with motion capture (depending on who you ask of course) and be the first of these films Zemeckis actually directs like a real movie.  Plus, the opportunity for Carrey to use his considerable talents to play multiple characters cannot be missed.
