Nomination Status: Holding her own against a guaranteed Emmy nominee may at least get her some attention.

In Her Favor: If Carly from "Beverly Hills 90210" can win two Oscars, surely Claire The Chancellor's Slutty Daughter can get an Emmy nomination? Most of Robertson's publicity surrounding "Boss" was about sex scenes that some Puritanical viewers found gratuitous. Not nearly enough talk focused on how confidently she held her own opposite Kelsey Grammer, who's almost a lock to earn a nomination for his scenery-chewing grandiosity. Watching Grammer made me appreciate Grammer, but it also made me appreciate Robertson.

Working Against Her: "Boss" will likely earn only a lone nomination this year.
