Christina Hendricks, "Mad Men"

Nomination Status: Two-time nominee may now be the frontrunner.

In Her Favor: It seems like every year we say that this is going to be the year a "Mad Men" actor or actress finally wins an Emmy, but it keeps not happening. This year, though, with no defending champion and with "The Other Woman" as a superb submission episode, maybe this is the year that Christina Hendricks finally breaks through and wins a darned Emmy? This may not have been the most Joan-filled of "Mad Men" seasons, but when Hendricks was on the screen, she made the most of every single second.

Working Against Her: Although she's probably a lock for a nomination, Hendricks keeps missing out on various satellite award nominations. How is Christina Hendricks not absolutely kibble for Golden Globe voters? I have no answer for that question.
