Nomination Status: Four-time winner? Yeah. "Mad Men" is gonna be OK.

In Its Favor: "Mad Men" is in the midst of an unprecedented run of Emmy success and it's coming off a season that some pundits thought was the show's best and that other folks merely thought was excellent. "Mad Men" can expect to be a player in almost every imaginable category from tech to acting. But really, the thing that's in its favor most? It's "Mad Men."

Working Against It: For a nomination? Nothing. Sure, this season had some detractors. But the number of people who would say that even in an "off" season [and this wasn't an "off" season], "Mad Men" isn't one of the six best dramas on TV is low. Until "Mad Men" loses one of these things, it's the presumptive favorite and by a wide margin.
