Sharon Gless, "Burn Notice"

Nomination Status: Emmy queen was nominated here last year, so don't rule her out.

In Her Favor: Sharon Gless has been nominated for 10 Emmys, including her first nomination for this role last year. On "Burn Notice," Gless consistently adds a shot of humor and heart whenever the writers remember to employ her. I guess it could be argued that Gless had a couple good episodes in which she expressed her disapproval at Michael's treatment of Jesse this past season?

Working Against Her: Best case scenario, Gless can point to a couple good episodes in which she made the absolute most of her five minutes of screentime. How can that be compared to the work done by so many of her category rivals? It's not Gless' fault that she's often The Forgotten Woman of "Burn Notice," but she just didn't do enough this season to earn a nomination.
