Christina Hendricks, "Mad Men"

Nomination Status: In a category with several departing nominees, Hendricks should be able to maintain her position.

In Her Favor: Although this wasn't exactly a Joan-centric season of "Mad Men," the complications in her relationship with Roger and her struggles winning respect in the office gave Hendricks three or four standout episodes. With "Mad Men" retaining its status as one of the best dramas on TV, three or four episodes should easily be enough to keep one of the show's most red carpet-friendly stars in the field. Watch "The Beautiful Girls." Then give Hendricks her nomination. Easy.

Working Against Her: The "Mad Men" cast is a great cast and Hendricks lost screentime to Elisabeth Moss, Jessica Pare and Kiernan Shipka this season. With Moss moving up to Lead Actress and Pare going for guest actress, Hendricks should be safe.
