Chris Noth of 'The Good Wife'
Chris Noth, "The Good Wife"
Nomination Status: As noted in the previous slide, I'm predicting two "Good Wife" nominations here. Charles has a slim advantage, but Noth wouldn't surprise.
In His Favor: Noth brings swagger to "The Good Wife" and his presence is strong even if he's barely doing anything. With his background on "Sex and the City" and "Law & Order," Noth has a lot of fans. That probably led to his receiving a slightly odd Golden Globe nomination earlier this year for his "Good Wife" performance.
Working Against Him: Noth wandered in and out of "The Good Wife" this season, dropping off the grid for multiple episodes at a time. And when he wasn't around, the show didn't really suffer in his absence. He's important to "The Good Wife," but not *that* important. Last year I predicted he'd get a nomination and I was wrong. This year I'm predicting he won't. Expect me to be wrong again.
