Emmy Nomination Preview 2011 - Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy
Eric Stonestreet leads a category in which all six 2010 nominees return
Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Comedy Series
Last Year's Nominees:
Chris Colfer, "Glee"
Neil Patrick Harris, "How I Met Your Mother"
Jesse Tyler Ferguson, "Modern Family"
Eric Stonestreet, "Modern Family"
Ty Burrell, "Modern Family"
Jon Cryer, "Two and a Half Men"
Attrition: None. As with Supporting Actress in a Comedy, this Emmy category remains intact, including winner Eric Stonestreet. That leaves very little room for breakthroughs, not that there were that many new comedies trying to break in. Still, this may be the category that offers the best chance for one of my "Other Notable Candidates" to break through with a nomination.
