Rob Lowe, "Parks and Recreation"

Nomination Status: This category is too hard. I want to predict Louis C.K. for this slot, but I think Lowe has a bigger name and a bigger show... And I'd be perfectly happy with him getting nomination.

In His Favor: Other than Amy Poehler, Rob Lowe is the biggest name in the "Parks and Recreation" cast, even if his introduction has done nothing to boost the show's ratings and even if he's not a Lead Actor on the show by any stretch of the imagination. He's still hilarious in his supporting role and if I had to support his candidacy in two words, they would be: Stop pooping.

Working Against Him: Yeah, not a lead role. And Lowe only has one career Emmy nod, back in 2001 for "West Wing." And "Parks and Recreation" only received one total Emmy nod last season. Yeah, this may be wishful thinking.
