Emmy Nomination Preview 2011 - Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy
Is this Steve Carell's year? Or will Parsons or Baldwin win again?

Steve Carell, "The Office"
Nomination Status: Send-off season guarantees another nomination. Will it also give him his first win?
In His Favor: Steve Carell has five acting nominations for his time on "The Office," but thanks in no small part to Alec Baldwin, he doesn't have a win. In Michael Scott's send-off arc this season, Carell turned in one amazing performance after another, culminating in a finale in which he laughed, cried and shot a basket over his shoulder. He deserves to be a sentimental favorite and he probably deserves the trophy.
Working Against Him: Baldwin returns. Jim Parsons returns. And as much as Carell deserves a nomination this year, support for the series itself has waned a bit with Emmy voters.
