With Kristin Chenoweth gone, will 'Glee' or 'Modern Family' stars step up?
Dianna Agron of 'Glee'
Dianna Agron, "Glee"
Nomination Status: Only if Emmy voters show the same level of support for "Glee" as FOX publicists.
In Her Favor: Jane Lynch is a lock for this category, but we were trying to think if any other supporting actress from the cast was even a slightly viable candidate to join her if Emmy voters prove to have an insatiable love for "Glee." The short answer? No. But if something bizarre happens, we'll put our long-shot money behind the beautiful blonde who huffed and puffed her way through giving birth in the finale. Our preference might be Jayma Mays instead, but that's not what this is.
Working Against Her: Quinn started off the year as an interesting character and then the writers forgot she existed, just as the costumers frequently forgot that her character was supposed to be pregant. A vehicle for drama, comedy or teachable moments was wasted and with it, the actress playing the role.
