Jack McBrayer of '30 Rock'
Jack McBrayer, "30 Rock"
Nomination Status: Since he was nominated last year, he can't be ignored.
In His Favor: It wasn't that Kenneth the Page ceased to be funny this year, just that the writers didn't have the time to give Jack McBrayer the variety of showcase episodes he had last season when he earned his first nomination. Then again, if voters can get past how very unfunny "Stone Mountain" was, it just might be the kind of showcase that lets McBrayer slip back in.
Working Against Him: There's an assumption that Emmy voters are going to clear out a lot of last year's nomination field to make room for new nominees. If that assumption is correct, McBrayer is vulnerable.
