The 6th spot needs to go to Matthew Fox in my opinion. Kiefer Sutherland was just as great as he usually is as Jack Bauer, but if we're awarding actors spots in their final season, then it should really go to Fox who took Jack to new levels of likability (not to mention a strong final season of LOST) over Sutherland who, while still stellar, did nothing to build upon what we've seen for 8 seasons (not to mention an extremely sporadic season of 24).
I like the Nathan Fillion inclusion, maybe they can nominate him to repay him for ignoring Firefly?
No matter who the 6th spot goes to, it's hard to imagine anyone but Cranston taking the Emmy this year. Breaking Bad has received nothing but praise this year and I truly believe his only real competitor is Michael C Hall who already took home the Globe and still has the chance at the emotional vote due to his recent battle with cancer.

Wouldn't disagree with the Top 4 and I'd like to see Olyphant & Hunnam round out the list.

Hall for the win!
dan giricns - John Noble has his own page and analysis in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama gallery, since that's where he's submitted for Emmy contention. -Daniel
