Adam Scott of 'Party Down'
Adam Scott, "Party Down"
Nomination Status: Maybe he'll be invited to cater the Emmys?
In His Favor: Scott is the mostly still point at the center of one of TV's funniest comedies. He's droll, biting and always funny. He gets a little extra credit for shifting over to "Parks and Recreation" at the end of the season and fitting into that ensemble seamlessly as well.
Working Against Him: Except Chris Albrecht to eventually turn Starz into an award season contender, but he probably won't do it with a low-rated show from the previous administration. The phrase "Hey Emmy voters, this is your last chance to honor Adam Scott for 'Party Down'" may not be a big draw.
