Bottom Line: We don't know which is stranger: That "My Name Is Earl" helped transform Jaime Pressly into an Emmy winner or that she completely deserved her win. As sanctimonious and misguided as "My Name Is Earl" eventually became -- no, we aren't going to miss it -- Pressly's Joy never failed to produce a laugh or two per episode. An Emmy nominee in 2006 and the winner in 2007, Pressly wasn't even nominated last year. If voters want to say farewell to a show they enjoyed in the past, Pressly is their best bet.
