Justin Chambers of 'Grey's Anatomy'
Justin Chambers, "Grey's Anatomy"
Nomination Status: At least four or five actors could claim the sixth nomination slot. Chambers is our hunch.
Bottom Line: As dreadful as Chambers was, once upon a time, in "The Musketeer" and "The Wedding Planner," he was a big part of why this season's Izzie plot worked so well on "Grey's Anatomy." If voters are watching Katherine Heigl's submissions wondering if they want to welcome her back into the nomination fold, they'll have no choice but to notice that Chambers was amazingly good in every phase of the season, whether he's was being accepting of his girlfriend's Ghost Sex, coping with her illness or trying to give her the wedding she craved. Chambers isn't going to be the best actor in this race, but for his work this season, he deserves some credit.
