With last year's winner Zeljko Ivanek out of the field, is the door open for a 'Lost' or 'Grey's Anatomy' star?

Matthew Rhys of 'Brothers & Sisters'
Matthew Rhys, "Brothers & Sisters"
Nomination Status: Unlikely
Bottom Line: Emmy voters seem to think "Brothers & Sisters" is all about the sistas, but what about the love for the brothas? Rhys has been the show's male stand-out for several seasons now and would probably get more respect if Emmy voters realized that he's Welsh. Rob Lowe also would probably get some notice on star-power alone if he weren't being a silly man and being submitted as lead actor. Mr. Lowe, as you are neither a "Brother" nor a "Sister" (or, I guess, a "Mother"), you are not a lead actor on "Brothers & Sisters." Oh and yes, Dave Annable could have been a deserving nominee in this category a season or two ago, but not this year.
