Gabriel Byrne of 'In Treatment'
Gabriel Byrne, "In Treatment"
Nomination Status: Probable nominee
Bottom Line: Although "In Treatment" won several acting Emmys last year, Byrne didn't win. He was nominated, however, which is a good sign. Also a good sign, at least somewhat, is his Golden Globe win. Bad sign? He wasn't nominated for a SAG Award in this category. Folks say that the second season of "In Treatment" was as good as the first, maybe better. So if Emmy voters had enough patience to see Byrne's excellence last year, they'll probably still see it this year.
