July 8, 2010 at 5:40PM EST Reply to CommentOK, I'm confused.
What is the date window in which a TV show is eligible to be nominated???
Some of these shows aired as far back as July or August of 2009 while others just wrapped up in June.
Is it something like July 1 of the previous year to June 30 of the current? Or is it some arbitrary "official full season airing" thing?
Anyone know?
dan Robert - Give or take a bit, it's the end of May to the end of May. So "Nurse Jackie," which premiered last summer, actually managed to have two whole seasons during the eligibility period, which doesn't happen all that often... -Daniel

July 8, 2010 at 8:44PM EST Reply to CommentI feel like the Emmy voters snubbed Ed O'Neil just because they were upset with him for not submitting for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy series. Which I'm guessing he'll do next year.

I was also surprised with Sharon Gless' nomination that came out of nowhere
Too bad Survivor was snubbed for Outstanding Reality Competition program

July 8, 2010 at 11:47PM EST Reply to CommentI wonder if Kurt Sutter gets no love because of his regular industry bashing on his blog.
dan Rich- The Emmy voters have no clue who Kurt Sutter is, his blog or his show. That's their loss, of course, on both counts.

Loser: Dan Fienberg
dan the truth hurts - Granted that I defended my Winners & Losers a bit better, sometimes there's no arguing with the truth, I guess?

July 10, 2010 at 7:30AM EST Reply to Comment'Community' is way funnier than 30Rock and Parks and Recreation combined! Glad to see the 'Taylors' from Friday Night Lights finally get proper recognition, as should have Zach Gilford for 'the son'. The best supporting actress in a comedy series' will be tough, but I think Julie Bowen should get it! I definately believe that the CW should have gotten a nod for Life Unexpected w/ Britt Robertson.
Just a few of my cents.
