Why Conan O'Brien, Betty White and 'Lost' are hot, but 'Married with Children,' 'Community' and The CW are not
Loser: Former stars of 'Married with Children'
In some circles, Ed O'Neill was considered the "Modern Family" star most likely to get an Emmy nomination. Instead? Five "Modern Family" co-stars were nominated, but O'Neill was snubbed. In some circles (like this one), Katey Sagal's performance on "Sons of Anarchy" was considered to be among the year's best. Emmy voters didn't pay heed to those circles. And although she was eligible, Christina Applegate's two-year run of "Samantha Who?" Emmy nods came to an end. We have yet to hear about the downside to Dave Faustino's morning.
