Preschool 'Star Wars' universe shows on Disney Jr.
Disney CEO Bob Iger already told investors, "We really like 'Star Wars‘ potential on TV as well and we think Disney XD will be a strong home for that." That makes sense for tween boys, but don't be surprised if Disney Jr - aimed for the preschool set - takes advantage of the new "Star Wars" property as well. Lucas' alien universe already features a number of cute and cuddly characters (cough, Ewoks, cough) that could work in Disney Jr's educational and entertainment format. And, of course, it's a great way to have a whole generation grow up on the franchise.
