Alexander Payne and Bennett Miller are all business
Payne was nominated for directing Best Feature nominee "The Descendants", though the film lost to co-winners "The Tree of Life" and "Beginners". "Moneyball" director Miller presented the award for Best Documentary, which went to "Better This World" directed by Kelly Duane and Katie Galloway.
