With his distinctive looks, he was a familiar character actor who spilt his time between big-budget Hollywood films such as "Lethal Weapon 2," "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" and "Inception," and smaller fare like "The Usual Suspects" and "Brassed Off" (pictured). He was nominated for an Oscar for "In the Name of the Father," opposite Daniel Day-Lewis. Postelthwaite died of cancer at age 64.
