Apple and Pixar co-founder Steve Jobs is recognized as perhaps the most visionary technological entrepeneur in history, a shrewd perfectionist who revolutionized several different industries by introducing an aesthetic of elegant simplicity to the world of consumer electronics. He died of complications of pancreatic cancer on October 5.
