Career high point: "The Matrix"
Career low point: "The Day the Earth Stood Still"
How to fix it: Considering he first turned heads in "Dangerous Liaisons" 24 years ago, Reeves has actually been remarkably consistent in terms of quality and box office. The last few years have been a bit bumpy however. The indies "The Private Lives of Pippa Lee" and "Henry Crime" went nowhere and his first studio picture since "Earth" is "47 Ronin" which hits theaters in November. You can't blame Reeves from taking a break from Hollywood after the dreadful "Earth," but he's putting a lot of pressure on "47" to show he can still open a movie. If he can make sure he's got one or two other studio movies in the pipeline he should keep his unexpectedly long career going.
