Brad Pitt arrives at the 'Moneyball' premiere in Oakland, CA
Based on the 2003 book "Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game" by Michael Lewis, "Moneyball" has Brad Pitt portraying real-life Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who managed to transform the A's into a competitive baseball club on a far lower budget than that of the large market teams.
The premiere was held at Oakland's Paramount Theatre of the Arts.
"Moneyball" hits theaters this Friday, September 23rd.
