"Made in Jersey"
You can almost hear the pitch: "Hey, you know that 'Jersey Shore' show the kids like? What if we turned it into a legal drama? And we take a really good British actress named Janet Montgomery and make her look and talk like Fran Drescher on 'The Nanny'? Ratings gold, I tell you, gold!" Uh, no. In the first episode, we watch as Montgomery's Martina uses her in-depth knowledge of how to use pliers to hike up skin tight jeans to prove the innocence of a client, and it's all downhill from there. Despite noble efforts by Montgomery and an underutilized Kyle McLaughlin to make this less than laughable, the ludicrous concept plus a fleet of Martina's wacky Joisey family members popping in to suck the air out of the room every so often gave CBS more than enough reason to yank this stinker after just two episodes.
