Captain Vidal - 'Pan's Labyrinth'
Sergi Lopez, known for a number of comedic roles in his native Spain, plays the fascist soldier Vidal, who is sadistic both toward the rebel fighters and his own unwanted step-daughter Ofelia (Ivana Baquero). It's a testament to the skills López and director Guillermo del Toro that in a movie full of strange creatures and supernatural ghouls, the scariest monster of them all is a man.
