Is the fourth time not the charm?
Best: Stanley Tucci trying to single-handedly save the movie
If Kelsey Grammer was doing his best to avoid playing a stock movie villain, Stanley Tucci was doing his best "Stanley Tucci" (see "Devil Wears Prada," "Julia & Julia" or "Easy A") to try and make "Age of Extinction" as funny as possible. In the Hong Kong sequences particularly, Tucci seems to be directing himself and ad libbing in one scene after another. It works well enough that Tucci is one of the few actors who manages to escape with his dignity intact.
