It's great, but not let's get crazy here
Best: Katniss honors Rue in District 11
For most people who aren't illiterate racists, Amandla Stenberg's Rue was one of the highlights of "Hunger Games" and Peeta and Katniss' visit to District 11 got to be an emotional highlight in "Catching Fire." Katniss' regret at being unable to save her friend, a regret that was perfectly played by Jennifer Lawrence, would have been sold the moment even without the effectively manipulative cutaways to Rue's family with a hologram of Rue shimmering above them. The ramifications of that apology, particularly the beating of the old man, are a pivotal moment in the development of Katniss' character and, I'm not gonna lie, the scene left me just a bit sniffly.
