Best: Another big night For 'Breaking Bad'
Yawn. For the second straight week, Bryan Cranston takes Best Actor and "Breaking Bad" wins the Drama Series prize for its widely hailed final season. And who's going to quibble? No, Anna Gunn couldn't beat Dame Maggie Smith, but who can blame SAG voters for preferring a five-minute weekly string of one-liners from a legendary Brit to a fully realized and heartbreaking dramatic performance from an American moral? Sigh. At least Gunn won at the Emmys. This is three straight major awards for "Breaking Bad" at this, the Globes and the Emmys and I was thinking Cranston was on the same streak before realizing that the Emmy voters went with... Jeff Daniels... For "Newsroom." Yeah. That happened. We have another eight months to wait before the the Emmy voters get to correct that blunder.
