Best: Allison Janney makes a little history
It didn't take long for Allison Janney to make Emmy history on Monday night, as her Supporting Actress in a Comedy win for "Mom" opened the show. With that win and last weekend's victory for "Masters of Sex," Janney joined Cloris Leachman and Stockard Channing as actors picking up multiple performance Emmys in the same year. Jim Parson, who won early for "Big Bang Theory," had a chance to join her, but he lost his "Normal Heart" bid. But the guy who beat him for "Normal Heart," Martin Freeman, suddenly had a chance at the double, but he lost his "Fargo" bid to his "Sherlock" co-star Benedict Cumberbatch. With her two wins this year, Janney is now up to six Emmys and if you've been watching "Masters of Sex," you know that she's a lock to be nominated again next year.
