Best and Worst of the 2013 Golden Globe Awards

Worst: Daniel Day-Lewis gets played off while thanking Steven Spielberg

It's the frustrating reality of awards shows: You schedule the big awards for late in the show and then you find yourself running out of time at the worst possible moment. Case in point: Daniel Day-Lewis has told a couple clumsy jokes and a weird story about bringing home his pelts to his wife. Yeah, that's not so great. But he's DANIEL DAY-LEWIS. So when Daniel Day-Lewis finally transitions out of his intro and gets around to thanking a couple little people like revered writer Tony Kushner and Directing God Steven Spielberg, you really don't want to have to play him off the stage. The producer of "Les Miserables" also got played off in the midst of a Best Picture speech, but that was really because it took forever to get to the podium and Anne Hathaway wasted time thanking her manager.
