Best and Worst of the 2013 Golden Globe Awards
Worst: HFPA president Dr. Aida Takla
Hey, at least they tried this time - and to be honest, I did chuckle, erm, once at Takla's jokey on-stage appearance (the Jeffrey Katzenberg bit). But my god, why does the Foreign Press (or the Academy for that matter) insist on subjecting TV viewers to one of these awkward HFPA president appearances every single year? Having the old lady say "Call Me Maybe" and flirt with Bradley Cooper from the stage may sound like a good idea in the writer's room, but there's a reason these people are executives and not comedians.
