Best and Worst of the 2012 SAG Awards: 'The Help,' 'Bridesmaids' drinking game, Betty White

Plus: Are Tina Fey and John Krasinski destined to host the Oscars together?

Worst: Paul Giamatti wins for a beard

The Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries category was strange to begin with, with two random supporting actors from "To Big To Fail," an Emmy winner for "Mildred Pierce" and an Emmy nominee (but not the Emmy winner) from "The Kennedys." Nobody from "Downton Abbey." No Idris Elba. Nobody from "The Hour" and no Dominic West from "Appropriate Adult." So that's how we end up with a winner, in Paul Giamatti, who couldn't have spent more than 10 minutes on-screen in "Too Big To Fail" and whose performance was best defined as "bearded." Neither Giamatti nor his beard were in attendance. - Daniel Fienberg
